What Europe can learn from Africa.
As perhaps one of the least appropriate drinks for the climate, it may come as a surprise to a European marketer that Guinness is sold in over 40 countries across Africa. Or that Kentucky Fried Chicken aims to open 1,200 new outlets in Kenya. Those more familiar with ‘New Africa’ will recognize that shopping malls, designer labels, laptops, smart phones and eating out at the latest restaurant may all still be novel but certainly no longer new.
